Sound Deadening

After the wagon was completely striped to a shell. We installed sound deadening throughout the wagon covering the floor, roof wheel arches and all doors. This step reduces the vibration in the panels to dampen all noise.

Insulated and Noise Dampening Roof

The second layer applied to the roof and rear firewall was a 6mm light weight acoustic and thermal insulation.



Some Key features to this product:

• It greatly reduces heat transfer.
• Prevents condensation.
• Does not rot or deteriorate.
• Reduces sound bouncing around cabin.

Premium Carpet Underlay

After covering the floor with stage one we applied a 8mm premium carpet underlay. This underlay is 2mm Mass Loaded vinyl upper layer, coupled with a 6mm closed cell foam to create the most effective means of acoustic blocking. Our flexible closed cell foam is water resistant and offers superior thermal insulation. Because we have molded it and glued all the joins together, the underlay can be easily removed after yourself stuck in a puddle and want to dry everything out.

Sound System

To complete this build we fitted four new speakers with matching door trim pods. All the sound deadening installed also helps to increase performance of the speakers.
